Will adjustable drivers ever find their way into the tee box for Long Drive. Will the technology (inserts, sleeves, mechanical adjustment) hold up to the swings speeds attained in a LD tee box?

I'm hearing they have held up far better than I thought they would have on higher swing speeds.

A more ridiculous venue for adjustable clubs there is not. Well, OK, the PGA Tour is pretty ridiculous too.
Used to get a head with the specs you want and build the club. Now it's all about "the wrench! The wrench!" We have to "make it fit." (Don't get me started on the "benefits" of the one SKU one loft drivers now.) Yeah, for the companies and inventories.

Personally, Callaway would have to push a lot more money my way to play one as a LD competitor than the competition to take them up on it. From a failure standpoint, why even go there for LD?
And I find their involvement in LD curious. Not a big enough market to really make a financial dent for them, is there? I think they see this as easy pickins' and that they'll steal away component users.
I hope they are in for a rude awakening. Last I heard, they weren't doing all that great financially. They always seem to spread themselves thinner and thinner trying to take on EVERY golf market and product.
(Things like their massive involvement in soft goods and accessories, for example.) Cally rangefinders. Cally travel bags. Cally WATCHES. Ridiculous!

I just picked up a 2 degree adjustable sleeve for my HOF Ultra LD shaft. I'm probably going to try a few locals this year and the adjustable sleeve is key. I have my R11 9 degree, RBZ tour 9 degree and a Superdeep 9.5 degree that I can take down 2 degrees AND the best part for me is, the clubface looks even more square to partially open to my eye.

I used to have 3 low lofted LD clubs built and couldn't hit any of them. Combination of technique and loft... they went nowhere. I took them all apart and sold the parts. Only reason I'm giving it another shot is the adjustable hosels.

How does that work? Can you use an R1 sleeve in any TM adjustable driver or are there new sleeves made for the older drivers?

No, the previous adapters don't fit the new R1.
