I have an Alpha V5 with a Matrix stiff shaft in it (can verify the model later), but since I am feeling way more confident with the Geek 5ive wood than the Alpha 3-wood, I am thinking that maybe a matching 3hree would be a good way to go.

Let me know what you have!

I can get pics upon request.

That stayed in the bag longer than I thought it would.

Ah, come on! It's still there, until I get a Geek to replace it!

The shaft is a Matrix Studio 74, which is actually quite nice. Although, I do think the Graphite Design 902 stiff that's in my Geek 5ive wood is a slightly better fit for me.

I have to say, I HATE the headcover that comes with the Alpha, with it's zipper. Horrible design.

Well, there is nothing wrong with having two of a kind, right?

Just kidding. It's hard enough having two of anything, much less the same exact thing to figure out which one works better.

What color is the paint and what kind of condition is it in? I don't need it to be perfect, but "nice" condition is always nice!

Do you happen to have a headcover?

I will PM you.

Sent you an email. I have to look for it as it is stashed in my extra clubs boxes. The color is the original which ever that was and it is in pretty nice condition if I remember correctly and yes it has a head cover as well. It is yours if you want it. No trade needed I will send it out to you if you will give me your addy.

Okay I found it. Unfortunately I also found the headcover but so did my Great Dane. She decided she wanted to play with it and while it is still good to use you can see where she bit into the bottom of the headcover and shook it. The head is a deep blue I believe it looks almost black. The sole has a ding on the middle rail but the head looks pretty good still. Couple of scratches on the face none on the top of the head though. If you are still interested let me know. Gus

Just replied to your e-mail (first one of yours never came through, as you found out).

Thanks a ton! :yahoo:

I now have a shaft for the head. It is the shaft I had/have in an Adams XTD fairway wood that I gave to my bro-in-law that he never uses and doesn't plan to use. So I got it back from him and will yank the shaft.

Things are coming together!

Thanks to Gus, I have a head sitting there waiting for the shaft to get installed!
