I won these in the Spring contest and I have to tell you they are quite unique. The quality was far better than I had ever seen in a head cover. The leather is literally soft supple glove leather but plenty thick to give me some confidence they will be as durable as I would hope. The embossed numbers at the top are a nice touch and only adds to the quality appearance. They fit on the clubs and stay on as expected and I really like the old school barrel design. I get asked about them almost every round.

Lets just say I was very impressed. I have a set of the black and now I am wondering what the other colors look like. I may be ordering for gifts just to see what colors looks like

Please follow-up in a few months to let us know how they hold up after a good number of rounds.

One other thing, as far as I can tell these head covers somehow greatly improved my putting. I would swear to it in a court of law.
I have had them one for 3 rounds and have had 23, 27, and 29 putts. So they are not just pretty, they are good luck as well. I imagine the green ones would be even luckier. In the round of 23 putts I conservatively figured I made a total of 193 feet of putts in 18 holes, which is crazy. Thanks Skins.

Those are really sweet looking. I had the Radix and those on my "wish list" for the contest. Kinda look like the ones Steve Elkington has on his clubs?

I did a review in the Golf equipment section on these head covers. I found them to be outstanding as well. I won them in the year end contest from Clubmaker-on line and have had them in my bag for about 70+ rounds now and they are just like new. Mine have the long sock attachment on the head cover and they are great for keeping the shaft from getting scuffed against the bag as you put it in and take it out. John also has a hybrid head cover in this set that is just darn nice. It will fit just about any hybrid and it like the others are very easy to put on and take off.

They also keep your clubs from being identified by potential thieves. But the best thing for me is they just look fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new head covers. The only downside is they look so good a thief may take your clubs for the head covers alone.

Thanks for the nice feedback on the Skins headcovers. I get a few email messages a week from people telling me they've owned Skins headcovers for 15 years and they finally have decided to replace them!
I've been trying to get Skins to do some updated photographs as the pictures I have on the web site aren't really too hot and he's changed/improved the design since those pictures have been taken.
Glad you guys are enjoying your Skins!
John

I probably should buy one of each color and do a shot with all of them together.
I did a HD video with my Canon T1i with the red clubglove model . It's at my home page, scroll down about 2/3 page. http://www.clubmaker-online.com.

Here's a pic of the Black and white:

They are sweet. A black white checker would be crazy and sell huge at the Indy 500. I'd buy those tomorrow.

My home course has two 18s, the Red and the Black and the flags on each course are checkerboard like a racing flag. Black and white for the black course, red and white for the red course. A set like that would be really cool for me.

I would be happy to except I don't even own a camera and if I did I have no way to upload it on my computer. I guess I am still living in a different century. It would be nice to have some pics up on the site as the head covers are just outstanding. The pictures on John's site does not do justice to them.
