Picked up a set of these from a guy in Toronto...used but not abused.
These are great wedges. I had been gaming Purefit idRAW wedges and they are very good, but the IP3's are better.
Shafted them up with Nippon 950 wedge shafts, and hit the course.
They set up very well for my untrained eye.
The sole grind allows me to open them up if I choose to. I don't know if it is the shaft or the head itself, but I am getting about 5-10 yds more out of them.
They seem to produce a lot of spin and I have shredded a few balls with them.
The greens around here are in winter mode (haven't been cut for a while and they are soft after the rains) so sucking it back has not really been an option, but they are not hitting and releasing...they stop where they land.
They have a really good feel maybe due to the weight removed from near the toe and redistributed lower.
Overall, I really like them.
