Congrats team GEEK !!

My experience with the NB today; I build t one up for my friend JACK he is 47 years old swings like a LD'ER I made it up with a 10.5* loft H O F J S regular flex tipped 1/4" @ 45.5" long he was hitting it long and real straight all morning, WE get to the 11th. hole witch is 342 yards from the whites AND HE DRIVES THE GREEN, IT ENDED UP ABOUT 14' PAST THE HOLE; This for him is about 42 yards longer than ever before; I have played this coarse for 35 years & never seen anything like that.

BTW, I just put 2 and 2 together and realized that Eric Jones used to be one of the teaching Pro's at Poppy Ridge where I play in our twilight golf league.

Love how you can see that Orange No Brainer so clearly in that pic.

Might need LDA's permission since it's their pic, I'll ask him.

The Geekster hasn't checked in yet but I just got off the phone with Neil Simpson who is jacked with the performance that ARES staffer Jackie Sholar had yesterday. Apparently this Senior hit one almost to the end of the grid yesterday (455 yards). Neil says there is a lot of hitting left but he is really impressed with Scholar so far. I believe he had a few more hitters also do well.

He also mentioned that he built 41 clubs for guys the past two nights!

An update from the Geekster:

- Looks like he has three people make the top 16
- George Slupski put one our yesterday at 449 (No Brainer)
- The Seniors are killing the ball and there is some concern now that the Open guys will be hitting through the grid unless the wind comes up.
- The Geekster is real pleased with the performance of his team.

Just spoke to Neil Simpson:

- Two of his ARES hitters made it through yesterday
- Some big yardages were hit
- This year will be the last for the Mesquite venue. There hasn't been any word of where it will be held next year.
- The Golf Channel has signed on and will be broadcasting future events.

I thought Monte Scheinblum was also hitting the Geek DCT although switching is possible.
