The 2 Dick's stores in my area don't even carry PING - I doubt we'll ever see Titleist here.

Ping is essentially more exclusive than Titleist as a general rule. Ping always had greater restrictions on who sold what and where. They also control the 'grey market' better than anyone in the industry.

But, don't be surprised if you see more Majors in these type operations down the road..including Ping! It seems to be moving in that direction. :o

With the way things are in the golf industry Ping and Titleist can't afford to turn down any potential business. If Dick's can move their gear they'd be stupid to not try to get in there. Who knows, maybe a couple of years from now we'll see Ping in Wal-Mart.

There is a 'full size' Dick's in Bethesda MD. My wife and I stopped in last June while working at the US OPen. It was my first visit into a 2 story Dick's - the Pro Shop was upstairs and their inventory is huge! They had a full selection of PING equipment and what seemed to be a knowledgeable sales guy. That is the only Dick's I have ever seen PING clubs in.
