Right hand gets done 3/13/14 and the left as soon as the surgeon lets me. I have put up with the pain and numbness for the past few years and now it's time before golf season. Right now I couldn't play if the weather allowed.

Before surgery my left hand was a 60 and my right was a 85 strength-wise. Five weeks ago I had my last visit with the surgeon and they were both at 80 and I have a lot more flexibility. They are a little stiff and sore at times but that will continue to lessen over the next few months. I found out that as my left hand got worse my grip got weaker. Once I started hitting balls there were a lot of low hooks which was corrected once I corrected my grip. I am glad I had the procedure.

Glad go hear it. Did he tell u your strength would come back in that hand? Reason I ask is I have a bone that's from the left thumb joint toward my wrist. It has arthritis. The doctor gave me a brace that I wear most of the time. Sometimes itlle hurt just sitting on the couch. It's fine for golf for now. He said not to get operated on until it's unbearable because the week after the surgery is excruciating and thefes a 3 month recovery time. Also, that wrist will never be as strong.
