RELAX
Blind people appreciate a quip which is what that was. I have blind friends (Jimmy total and Jimmy partial) Jimmy total (has a dog) often bumps in to people and says sorry I am deaf or something similar! Didnt hear you.
I did a 100 mile tandem bike ride with Jimmy Parial (I steered) for no reason other than we are mates and I like to ride bikes - it may be percieved as charity but it was not.
I raise money for a blind charity and would estimate that in the next 12 months I will raise approx $15,000
I organise football matches and a guy plays aged 37 with CP - his family were so overprotective of him that they called after each match to discuss how it went!
A single disability does not stop you being a human, nor does it require other people to do all your talking for you -
I know a guy who works for the BRAILLE press in Edinburgh and mentioned this and It might now even be in print!

No one is ignorant here.
Not like they are deaf!
