Well, after much wait, I shafted up the TK-1 that I one in GBT's spring generosity contest with a HOF Patriot. Part of the reason for the delay, was I trying to find a white ferrule for the build and couldn't find any place that would sell a single, so I ended just using a black.

(I think the white ferrule would have completed the white lollipop stick look I was going for lol).
Immediately what I noticed after assembling was the static weight of the club. I know people talk about swing weight, but for me overall weight seems to be just as important....and this combo weighed in at 317 grams without adding additional weight, which is where I like it. The length of the club is about 44.75" which has been a better length for me.
Anyways, it made its debut at a scramble on Saturday....the rest of my foursome definitely digging the lollipop green. The first tee shot, I hit solid dead center, felt great, seemed like great trajectory....now the bad, I tend to have a draw (right to left) and the position of the tee box with relationship to green and fairway, I knew was going to be problematic....so I tried to squeeze down on the right side and before it could draw.....i caught a tree...but I was very pleased.
Later I caught another one....unfortunately it was a 310 with a dog leg right after about 250-260 out.....I caught all of straight....cleared a sand trap that had to be about 240-250, landed in the street (narrowly missing a car) and ended up just on the fringe of the hole across the street....luckily I was able to retrieve since that was our next hole.....overall, very pleased with the combo. Unfortunately I am pretty busy the next week, so I may not be able to take out again until August.
